Rally Night at Murdock

Camping...Hiking....Fishing...Pinewood Derby...Archery...Service to the Community...Family Fun & Adventure!!! These are just some of the things your son is missing out on if he is not involved in Cub Scouting! Murdock has an active Cub Scout Pack - you’ve seen us performing flag ceremonies at PTA meetings and we even tended the garden behind Murdock over the summer. We are always looking to get new families involved. Families? Yes, because Cub Scouting is not just a typical drop-off/pick-up activity – it really is fun for the whole family! With just a few exceptions, families (including siblings) are always invited to attend activities with their son, whether it’s monthly Pack Meetings at Murdock, or weekend camping trips to one of the amazing BSA camp sites in the area.

Interested? Well come join us at the Murdock Cafeteria on Tuesday, August 28th, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM for Cub Scout Rally Night, our annual membership recruitment event. All boys in 1st – 5th grade are invited to attend Cub Scout Rally Night and become a member of Pack 815. (Note - Kindergarten boys will be invited to join at the end of the school year.) If you choose to join, the BSA Registration Fee due on Rally Night is $14 per boy. There are additional costs for Pack Dues and Uniforms, which will be explained at Rally Night. However, no boy will be turned away due to inability to pay.
