Youth Protection Training

Youth Protection Training (YPT) is required for all registered leaders.

It is also recommended that parents of Cubs take the Youth Protection Training course to help ensure that adult volunteers follow YPT rules at all scouting events. YPT is designed to help you keep our youth safe from abuse, and following YPT guidelines also helps to protect adults from false claims of abuse. You will learn the Boy Scouts of America’s Youth Protection Guidelines, signs of abuse, and how to report suspected abuse.
